Sometimes the highest point on the 48hr graph may not match the maximum forecast for the day. There are two reasons why this might happen:
- The graph is at hourly intervals (12pm, 1pm, 2pm, 3pam) and the highest temperature may fall between these points (i.e. 1:30pm);
- The daily Min / Max is sourced from the Bureau of Meteorology whereas the Next 48 hour forecast and graph is produced by our Opticast ensemble model and as such there may be differences in the forecast temperatures and likelihood of rain.
